Are your juices vegan / gluten free?
All of our cold pressed juice, nut mylks, smoothies and wellness shots are gluten free, dairy free, and GMO free. A few of our juices do include bee pollen or local raw honey, so they are not a vegan option. There are no other animal products in our juices.

Is your juice organic?                                                                                               
Yes! We are the only organic certified juice company in the Pacific Northwest. Also, we are certified organic by both the USDA and Oregon Tilth. While many juice companies may claim to be 100% organic, this cannot be guaranteed without the certification that we have!

How long do these juices last?
Once pressed, have a shelf life of 5 days. If you’re doing a cleanse longer than 3 days, we’ll split your delivery to make sure everything stays fresh. For example, if you order a 5-day cleanse, you’ll get your juices in two batches – one for the first 3 days, and another for the last 2.

How often do you make juice?
We juice every day except Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Therefore, if you receive a delivery on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday mornings, the juice will have been pressed two days prior.

We offer local deliver every day of the week. To view your delivery options, simply enter your delivery address during checkout.

Can I place an order to pick up at your store?
Of course! During checkout, you’ll have the option to choose store pickup instead of delivery.

Do you ship your juices?
Yes, we ship nationwide! Shipping to most of Oregon, Washington, Northern Idaho, and Northern California is just $14.99. For other regions, shipping is based on FedEx Overnight rates. Juices will arrive on either Tuesday or Thursday. Before shipping, we freeze our juices, shots, nut milks, smoothies, broths, and probiotics to ensure they arrive in optimal condition. However, freezing does not extend the shelf life, and once delivered, your juices will have a 3-day shelf life.

How can I make sure that I get the freshest juice?
To ensure that you are receiving the freshest juices, we recommend ordering 3 days in advance, especially for cleanses or other large orders. If you place an order for next day delivery your package will not be guaranteed the freshest juice possible, including some that may have been pressed 2 days prior. You will never receive expiring juice, but late/next day orders aren’t guaranteed our freshest juice.

“I need my juices delivered before/after a certain time”
We will do our best to deliver within the selected timeframe but we cannot guarantee that it will be. This is because our deliveries are heavily affected by the amount of orders, traffic, etc. If you need your juices by a specific time, we recommend either selecting store pickup or opting for delivery the day before you plan to begin your cleanse. With pickup, you can collect your juices at your convenience.

Do you offer same day delivery?
Yes, we do offer same-day delivery! Simply place your order before noon, and during checkout, you’ll have the option to select today as your delivery date. We’ll ensure your juices are delivered as soon as possible. Please note this can mean any time between 12PM and 6PM.

“I’d like to buy a 3 day cleanse today”
We recommend ordering cleanses 3 days in advance to ensure we have enough juice prepared. You’re welcome to visit our store to check current availability, but we cannot guarantee that we’ll have the full selection of fresh juice for an impromptu cleanse.

Why are your juices unpasteurized?
Our juices are cold-pressed and bottled raw in order to preserve and maximize the nutritional value and enzyme viability of the juice. If you have hesitance about consuming unpasteurized juice due to health reasons, please reach out to your doctor for advice.

Why can’t I find Portland Juice Co. products in stores?
Our juices are unpasteurized which gives them a fragile shelf life. We have chosen not to compromise the integrity of our product by opting not to artificially extend our shelf life. This means you can only find our cold pressed juice in our store, on our website, and at select farmers markets around Portland.

Why do you use plastic bottles?
Our bottles are made of 100% recycled plastic and BPA free. We are hoping to make the switch back to glass bottles soon!

How do your subscriptions work?
If you are regularly wanting juice from us, you can set up a subscription to receive juice daily, weekly, or monthly! This offers a lot of convenience, not having to place multiple orders consistently. It also guarantees that you receive the freshest juice.

Can I earn points for my online orders?
Yes! You earn 5 points for every $1 spent in-store or online. After you have earned 500 points, you are eligible for $5 off your next purchase, which can be redeemed in-store or online!

Why did you move your website and POS system to Shopify?    
Shopify allows us to streamline sales into one system, reducing errors and creating a smoother checkout experience. Square also had glitches, including payments showing up under competitor names. We made the switch to ensure transactions are clear, trustworthy, and aligned with our brand values. Rest assured, all customer reward accounts have been seamlessly transferred to our new rewards system, so you can continue earning points without interruption.

What farmers markets can I find you at?
We are at the PSU market every Saturday, all year long. You can also find us at Vancouver, Hillsdale, and Woodstock throughout the market season. Feel free to call our shop to find out which markets we will be at!

Stellar Pop is our sister company that makes certified organic popsicles. They share our belief that healthy treats can also be delicious! Stellar Pops are available online and in-store, with availability varying by season.

Max Probiotics is another one of our sister companies that makes organic, live probiotics drinks. Our probiotics are fermented to peak potency with different probiotic strains to help you feel your best! Max Probiotics are available for purchase on the Max Probiotics website, the Portland Juice Co website, and our store front!

Lizzy’s Organics is one of our sister companies specializing in certified organic broths! We currently have chicken bone broth and a vegan shiitake mushroom broth and we are hoping to introduce more flavors soon!
